Arkansaw Kid: In its last race on September 14 at Flemington, he surged to the front, just getting the win. He carried 53.5kg and managed to beat Skybird (53kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $6.50 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now.

Right To Party: In its latest run at Flemington Open on September 14, it held its ground and snagged 4th place out of 10, not too bad.

Think About It: Last run was a 5th finish at Eagle Farm over 1300m in a Open. But, I think Think About It could run well here from barrier 8.

Mazu: Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 11 in the Open at Randwick on September 21. That race was over 1100m on a good track and it came in 0.7 lengths behind Stefi Magnetica (56kg). Definitely among the winning chances.

Reliable Ruby: I like the look of Reliable Ruby in Race 8 at Doomben on Saturday. Previously won at Sunshine Coast over 1000m, carrying 58.5kg. That was a really good win, so I think Reliable Ruby should be tough to beat on Saturday too.
