Democracy Manifest: It hit the track on October 5 and Democracy Manifest put in a solid effort, finishing 8th out of 20. Saturday's race sees some good odds to have a crack, I think. With Nash Rawiller on board, that gives me confidence too.

Fawkner Park: The last run was a 10th finish at Caulfield over 1800m in an Open. But, I think Fawkner Park could run well here from Barrier 8.

Lindermann: The last time this horse hit the track, Lindermann put in a better effort, and that's something to take note of for Saturday's race. With Joao Moreira riding, you know that Lindermann has got a jockey who can handle business.

Rediener: Last race, Rediener was 17th out of 20 at Randwick on October 5 on a good track over 1600m, 7.3 lengths behind Ceolwulf (54kg) with 55.5kg at $31.00. But it should improve here.

Metalart: Metalart has been excellent thus far with 4 wins in 5 starts. Last start was a 5th place at Eagle Farm. But he likes this track, Metalart is undefeated in 3 runs at Doomben Racecourse.

Bews: Back from a spell and has won 2 of 3 when he has been first-up before.

Scud: Last start, finished 3rd of 10 at Doomben in an Rs0MW over 1110m, just 1.7 lengths behind Thelwell (53kg) carrying 54kg at $10.00.

Majorelle: In its last race, Majorelle was 4th at Doomben on October 5 over 1110m, just 3.1 lengths behind Thelwell (53kg). This should be another race where I think it can potentially improve and get over the field.

Chakado: Should enjoy the longer distance and will likely be fitter after running first-up a few weeks ago.

Capulet: I'm a big fan of Capulet in Race 4 at Morphettville on Saturday. On October 8, won over 1400m at Wangaratta, carrying 59kg. That was a solid win, so I believe that Capulet can win on Saturday as well.

Boondocks: In its recent race at Cranbourne, Boondocks came in third, not too far behind 1st and 2nd. After that run, it should have a good chance of running a place in this race. Jake Toeroek is in good form and should be able to get a good run.

Nullify: Last run, took down Red Roof (54kg) over 1550m at Morphettville Parks (starting price: $8.00). I think that was an impressive win, so I'm backing Nullify to get the win on Saturday, especially from barrier 3 with Ben Price in the saddle.
