Oryx: In its latest run at Canterbury BM72 on August 28, it held its ground and snagged 4th place out of 8, not too bad. Loves this track, is yet to finish outside the top 3. 
 
Explosive Torpido: Last time this horse hit the track, Explosive Torpido put in a better effort, and that's something to take note of for Thursday's race. With Alysha Collett riding, you know that Explosive Torpido has got a jockey who can handle business. Likes running second-up. 
 
Opal Fields: Last start, Opal Fields was 6th of 8 at Randwick on August 19 over 740m on a heavy track, 4.6 lengths behind Rantan. But it should improve here. Previous success running first-up in its career and should enjoy the racing conditions at Hawkesbury. 
 
Boss: Last run was a 7th finish at Wyong over 1100m in a BM64. But, I think Boss could run well here from barrier 3. Very good career record in second-up situations.

Night Colours: Last start, this horse tried its best but was just not good enough in the end, finishing 4th of 14 at Warrnambool in a BM58 over 1100m, 1.5 lengths behind Rockcliff (56.5kg). But I'm backing it to get into the top three this time or maybe even get the win for punters on Thursday. Good stats when it's second-up. 

Overflow Miss: On August 6, won over 1000m at Hamilton. That was a good win, so I think that Overflow Miss is one to watch in this race. Good record when it's fourth-up too. Include in your exacta. 

Hidden Comfort: I'm a big fan of Hidden Comfort in Race 6 at Warrnambool on Thursday. On August 24, won over 1300m at Wangaratta, carrying 57.5kg. That was a nice win, so I believe that Hidden Comfort can win on Thursday as well. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think. 

Altai Ranger: Ready to hit peak form now. Came 2nd last start at Geelong with Currie in the saddle.

Estimator: Coming off a solid effort at Northam, running 4th and just outside the placings. But I think it can likely improve in this race. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances. 

Audrey Grace: I like the form of Audrey Grace for Race 6 at Bunbury on Thursday. Won at Belmont Park over 1200m on August 28. Good stats at the distance too, bodes well for Thursday. 

Mia Gusto: Last race was a 3rd place finish at Belmont Park over 1200m. Likes running first-up. 

Speak To Me: Its last race saw this horse finish 7th of 9 at Lark Hill in a Barrier Trial-Restricted 71 over 950m. However, I think Speak To Me can do a better job here from barrier 1. Likes running second-up, has a good record.
