Racing action in Australia continues on Thursday and Only Racing Australia is here to help you find some winning bets! We've got some cheeky exotic bets for you in this one from some of the best meetings of the day.
Exacta - Wyong - R5
1st: 1, 8, 4, 3
2nd: 1, 8, 4, 3
Odegaard: Resuming on Thursday. Has a positive first-up record in its career. In his last race on May 23 at Hawkesbury, he surged to the front, winning by 0.5 lengths. He carried 59kg and managed to beat Miss Cartel (57kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $8.00 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.
Lights Of Paradise: Lights Of Paradise showed some promise at Scone last time. In it's last start, Lights Of Paradise placed 3rd out of 8 in a Cls 1 on July 12 over 1300m, on a heavy track, just 2.3 lengths behind Soaring Phoenix (57kg) with 55kg at $3.90. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances.
Able Red: Able Red showed promise at Goulburn on July 5, finishing 2nd out of 6 in a BM66 on a heavy track, just 1.3 lengths behind Unwritten (62.5kg) with 56kg at $7.00. With that run under its belt, Able Red is expected to improve and I think is a strong contender for this race. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances.
Let's Go Johnny: Her last race saw her finish 5th of 8 at Scone in a Cls 1 over 1600m, 4 lengths behind Miss Tarzy carrying 56kg at $11. However, I think Let's Go Johnny can do a better job here from barrier 6. Has enjoyed plenty of success at Wyong with a 100% record of finishing in the top-three.
Exacta - Gatton - R6
1st: 4, 3, 9, 8
2nd: 4, 3, 9, 8
Hayaku: On July 17 at Grafton in a Cls 2 over 1600m, Hayaku started slow and finished 7th out of 12, while carrying 55kg at $6.00 odds. Likes running 1400m and this race should suit it nicely.
Toba: Last start, Toba was 9th of 11 at Doomben on July 13 over 1350m on a soft track, 7.3 lengths behind Deep Respect (58kg) with 60kg at $101.00. But it should improve here. Distance shouldn't be an issue either, loves running 1400m.
Tamahagane: I like the look of Tamahagane in Race 6 at Gatton on Thursday. Previously won at Beaudesert over 1200m, carrying 58.5kg. That was a really good win, so I think Tamahagane should be tough to beat on Thursday too. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.
Storm Force Ten: Previously, it finished 5th of 12 at Rockhampton in a RST58 on July 12, 2024 over 1300m, 2.5 lengths behind Barry's Lane (59kg).
Exacta - Bendigo - R7
1st: 8, 10, 5, 6
2nd: 8, 10, 5, 6
Sasqualah: With Meech on board last start, won at Bendigo (1500m). So hopefully that form continues into Thursday's race. On Thursday, Meech is in the saddle and knows how to win. Get on board. I think its a real genuine each way chance.
Tapa Capall: Last time this horse hit the track, Tapa Capall put in a better effort, and that's something to take note of for Thursday's race. With Ethan Brown riding, you know that Tapa Capall has got a jockey who can handle business. Likes running at Bendigo, among the dangers for sure.
Vankukla: Ready to hit peak form now. Came 2nd last start at Sale with Nolen in the saddle. Very good top 3 stats at track.
Heavenly Eagle: Just finished behind the places in it's last start, finishing 4th at 12 on June 30. So I think it can improve after that run and should be fitter here. Has enjoyed plenty of success at Bendigo with a 100% record of finishing in the top-three.
