Friday Racing Tips - Geelong 21/06/24

The big guns have been called in for the opener, with Jye McNeill on board Earth God for the Freemans. Whilst it is an open Maiden Plate, Earth God certainly is the pick of the bunch and it should win if it gets a clean run.

THE DANGER – Ndola – $5.50

Key danger within the betting market for punters and betting sites is Ndola and it should be firmly in the hunt here. Debutants are always question marks in races such as this but Ndola is certainly the value bet.

VALUE BET – Gulfstate - $8.50

Gulftate enjoyed a very good debut run at Cranbourne just a month or so ago and it should be in the hunt again here for punters and betting apps. This is a step up in quality but with maidens only in the field, Gulfstate has as good a chance as any.

THE DANGER – Hotzel – $4.40

Form has been trending in the wrong direction for Hotzel of late but it remains a horse that has the capabilty to challenge in contests such as this. Geelong over 1200m looks to be ideal for Hotzel and it is one to watch for all punters and betting sites.

VALUE BET – She's Ternacious - $12.00

There are plenty of horses that make strong claims in this one and She's Ternacious is perhaps the pick of the bunch. A win over this distance last time out is a real tick in the box and connections have high hopes for this horse, which as been noted by all punters and betting apps.

Despite a poor showing at Pakenham last time out, Haraldus remains the firm favourite for this one and with the going at Geelong potentially a touch heavy, that should play even more into its favour.

THE DANGER – Darts Daly – $6.50

A horse that has perhaps been overlooked by a few punters and betting sites is Darts Daly, who was impressive when hitting the post at Swan Hill a fortnight ago and it is the key danger on the card.
