Very similarly, Cresta Run looks to have the credentials to challenge here, another very quick horse, who will be getting its debut run in this one. Connections love this horse and the trip looks ideal at Scone.

VALUE BET - Quick Sharp - $7.00
Yet another first time runner looks to be in the mix here in Quick Sharp, a horse that has some excellent pedigree. Speed could be the issue but it has nothing to lose from a decent price in the market.

BEST BET - Keep At 'Em - $3.50
Following a nondescript first run last time out, Keep At 'Em looks well placed to push on and challenge in this one over 1400m at Scone. Conditions and the trip should suit and it should be better for its debut outing last time out..

THE DANGER - Like Lukey - $5.00
Whilst it hasn't been seen at this level for a while, Like Lukey will be in the hunt here, provided it can show the form it did last season. A prolific placer, Like Lukey will be eager to ensure it goes one better in this one.

VALUE BET - Telecom - $12.00
With no wins across the board in this one, backing a horse that hasn't been burned by the experience of racing could be the way to go and Telecom looks a good price to cause a bit of a shock here.

BEST BET - Eclair Encore - $2.60
Both of the performances shown by Eclair Encore at this level have been hugely encouraging and conditions here at Scone should suit. 1400m looks to be the perfect distance and Eclair Encore will take some beating here.

THE DANGER - King's Duty - $4.20
For a 5-year old King's Duty is very experienced and wins have been hard to come by but it should be very comfortable in this company and it has the experience to mount a challenge.

VALUE BET - Exceedaqa - $6.00
Exceedaqa is a horse that has won well at this level in the past and it should be raring to go in this one. A recent blip on the card will be discouraging for some but it is worth keeping an eye on this one in the betting market.
