For the final race at Sandown, my attention is drawn to Elouyou. Damian Lane, who has a stellar record of 1 win, 1 second, and 1 third in 3 career starts aboard this horse, is once again in the saddle. Elouyou's recent outing at Flemington saw it secure a respectable second place, suggesting a promising start to the season. Additionally, with a commendable track record of finishing second in its second-up race at Pakenham last year, there's reason to believe Elouyou could deliver another strong performance. Freshened up and ready to go, Naval Commission is one to watch in Race 7 at Randwick on Wednesday. Its last outing at Scone showcased its tenacity and determination with a gritty win on the pace. Last start, it beat a tough field of 13 competitors from barrier 11 position. With Nash Rawiller taking the reins on Wednesday, there's anticipation for another strong performance, in my view. Naval Commission has also shown a preference for heavy tracks / conditions, with two wins from two career starts in such conditions. With a career 80% place rate, I think this should be a safe bet to end today's multi.
