Edge Of Reward showed some good form at Taree last time. In its last start, Edge Of Reward placed 3rd out of 10 in a BM66 on December 22 over 1258m, on a good track, just 0.3 lengths behind Critical Time (58kg) with 58.5kg at $12.00. Previously, 9th of 10 at Randwick-Kensington BM64 on December 6, 2024 over 1250m. Likes running at Port Macquarie, among the dangers for sure. When Edge Of Reward has raced at this distance, the trend has been positive.

I think Flying Flossy should be a nice bet in Race 7 at Wagga on Friday. Won at Canberra over 1300m on December 13. Before that, Flying Flossy finished first at Wagga in a BM58 on June 17, 2024, over 1200m. Distance shouldn't be an issue either, loves running 1400m. Loves dry conditions, the track at Wagga should be nice. Currently in excellent racing form, definitely the one to watch in this race.

Come Along Jeffrey is on a hot streak having won 3 straight races. Let’s see if he can do it again. In its last race on December 13 at Geelong, he surged to the front, winning by 1.3 lengths. He carried 60.5kg and managed to beat Apparatus (61kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $4.80 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now. Before that, Come Along Jeffrey finished first at Dunkeld in a BM70 on November 16, 2024, over 1200m. Undefeated at this track thus far in its career so hoping that can continue. Seems to love this distance with a good career record. In winning form, don't look past it.
