For the live horse racing action on Saturday, I've gone through each race and found a suitable runner to put into a multi. I'm backing three horses to get the job done across races at Ballarat, Rosehill and Ascot. Here is my multi of the day!

Last start, it tried hard but was outgunned, finishing 4th of 6 at Caulfield in an Open over 1200m, 3.0 lengths behind Semillion (58.5kg). I expect this runner to finish strong and should offer good value odds for punters on Saturday. Previously, 3rd of 8 at Caulfield Open on July 13, 2024 over 1100m. When Mrs Chrissie has raced at this distance, the trend has been positive.

Last time on the track, it placed 3rd out of 10 in the BM78 at Rosehill on November 30. That race was on a soft track and it came in 0.4 lengths behind Terrestar (57.5kg). Should be in the mix. Previously, 2nd of 9 at Rosehill BM72 on November 13, 2024, over 1300m. Seems to always run well at this track and that should be a good omen for this race. Good stats at the distance too, bodes well for Saturday. Currently in excellent racing form, definitely the one to watch in this race.

Last run, took down Sentimental Hero (54kg) over 1800m at Ascot (starting price: $4.80). I think that was an impressive win, so I'm backing Diamond Scene to get the win on Saturday, especially from barrier 11 with Clint Johnston-Porter in the saddle. Before that, Diamond Scene finished first at Ascot in an Open on November 2, 202,4 over 1400m. Decent win rate percentage, watch it in the straight. At the distance of 2200m, Diamond Scene has been impressive.

We hit a massive multi on the weekend, picking Snitzanova at Caulfield R6, Belvedere Boys in Race 6 at Rosehill and Miss Skyhigh (Ascot R9). So let’s keep the good times rolling this week and we’ll have best bets every day. Also, Arapaho took out the Zipping Classic at Caulfield last weekend, just holding on by 0.75 lengths. Overpass won the Winterbottom Stakes by almost the same margin over at Ascot.
