In its last race on August 4 at Sandown-Lakeside, he surged to the front, winning by 0.8 lengths. He carried 61.5kg and managed to beat Over Boost (62kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $2.70 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now. Before that, Valois finished first at Caulfield in a Open on June 29, 2024 over 1440m. Very good record at the track, watch out for it on Wednesday. Loves the distance and I hope that continues over the 1200m. Likes running in dry conditions. Has had success when running second-up, so I like its chances on Wednesday.

On August 6 at Rosehill in a Barrier Trial-Open over 900m, Imperial Force started slow and finished 8th out of 9, while carrying at odds. Previously, 6th of 9 at Newcastle Open on May 11, 2024 over 1200m. Looked good first-up and should be even fitter now.

Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 10 in the Rs1MW at Belmont Park on August 3. That race was over 1600m on a soft track and it came in 3.2 lengths behind Kerman Rock (56kg). Definitely among the winning chances. Previously, 1st of 12 at Bunbury Cls 3 on July 25, 2024 over 1680m. Distance shouldn't be an issue either, loves running 1650m. Has had success when running second-up, so I like its chances on Wednesday. I think its a real genuine each way chance.
