Sumo Fish showed promise at Kempsey on September 2, finishing 2nd out of 11 in a Cls 2 on a good track, just 0.8 lengths behind Super Jaie (55kg) with 55kg at $4.80. With that run under its belt, Sumo Fish is expected to improve and I think is a strong contender for this race. Doesn't mind running fourth-up as Sumo Fish has proven success when it's in this situation.

Last race, placed 3rd of 12 at Pakenham Synthetic in a BM64 over 1000m, just 1.8 lengths behind Mr Tickles (61.5kg) carrying 60.5kg at $11.00. Previously, 1st of 8 at Ballarat Synthetic BM58 on July 9, 2024, over 1000m. Very good stats when it's racing at this 975m distance. Brad Rawiller has had plenty of success on board, winning over 1000m in early July this year.

Last race was a 3rd place finish at Geelong over 1733m Previously, 1st of 7 at Echuca BM64 on August 11, 2024, over 1618m. Good stats at the distance too, bodes well for Tuesday. Jockey Jarrod Fry has won twice on board and placed in 2 other races as well.
