Finished 4th on October 16 at Caulfield. That should be a good form guide for this race. Previously, 1st of 15 at Sandown-Hillside BM84 on September 28, 2024 over 1400m. The trip should suit, it has been good before over this distance. Not a lot of queries with this one, it should be able to beat this field or at least finish in the top 3.

Last run, took down Slinky (58kg) over 1200m at Kembla Grange (starting price: $2.90). I think that was an impressive win, so I'm backing Codetta to get up there on Friday, especially from barrier 5 with Zac Wadick in the saddle. All in all, I think this runner has a good chance of taking this race or at least running a place.

In its last race at Scone on November 11, it won easily by 4.0 lengths. It was carrying 59kg and held off Think We'Re There (56kg), which was nice to see as one of the favourites. So, it's looking like a good bet in this race too. Also, Like Lukey finished first at Scone in an Mdn on October 25, 2024, over 1400m. Top 3 record is good, should be able to put in a good run. Currently in excellent racing form, definitely the one to watch in this race.
