At such short odds, it seems inevitable that most punters will get behind Metalart here but this is a horse that has bags of potential. It is certainly one of our best bets of the day in this field and it should romp home at Doomben once again.

THE DANGER - Queen Air - $7.50
Having not raced for a huge chunk of 2024, Queen Air is the unknown quantity here but on stock, it should be in the mix. The pace could be a touch hot for first race back but Queen Air is a very shrewd operator.

VALUE BET - En Pointe - $9.00
Knowing where En Pointe is currently at is tough. This is a horse that was too strong for everything it came up against last season but has struggled this term, making it a real unknown quantity here.

BEST BET - Kerchak - $2.45
Winning at this level is often a habit and Kerchak is very much in the winning groove. Back to back triumphs coming into this one feel like significant steps and whilst the chasing pack is decent, Kerchak is the one to catch here.

THE DANGER - Exotique Miss - $4.40
It has been more about what might have been for Exotique Miss in recent times and the stakes continue to rise with every race. This should be a decent shot at glory though, especially in the heavy going at Doomben.

VALUE BET - Rogue Bear - $4.50
Irish flyer Rogue Bear is another one who has endured some near misses of late and this should be another decent chance to pick up a win, although it will need to demonstrate more resolve than in some of its recent outings.

BEST BET - I Found You - $2.50
On paper, I Found You shouldn't be beaten under any circumstances here. It is a top quality horse, with some great results under its belt but a poor show at Flemington last time out and the wet ground are perhaps question marks.

THE DANGER - Overfull - $4.50
Trending in the right direction of late has been Overfull, a horse with bags of potential and it is one to watch in a developing market here, especially with the heavy ground at Doomben not likely to be too much of an issue.

VALUE BET - Spicy Martini - $16.00
A hugely impressive win on debut is a huge tick in the box for Spicy Martini, who has a 100% winning record. Obviously, this is a sterner test but Spicy Martini is a horse to keep an eye on.
