Kiwi flyer Horrifying has been overlooked here by many betting sites but it is an excellent horse, who won well at Flemington this month and should the chance arise, it could be firmly in the hunt.

Similarly, this will be the first run of the season for Prowling, who last hit the track back in 2023 but it is a seriously good horse and with a busy Spring of entries ahead, confidence will be the key objective from this outing.

VALUE BET - Veloce Carro - $7.00
Whilst Veloce Carro hasn't hit the heights many people expected as yet, it remains a classy horse for Ciaron Maher, who should relish this contest at Flemington and over the 1100m dash, it could well sneak into contention.

The Freedman clan will be hoping that Right To Party can get the job done for them in the headline offering of the day here, Aurie's Star Handicap in race 6 and having won its last two - including over course and distance, it looks to be the one to beat.

Recent from has been very good from Zarastro, who has been trending in the right direction and this will be a distance it is comfortable running over, making this one very winnable in the eyes of connections and Jamie Kah on board.

VALUE BET - It'sourtime - $6.00
The prolific Damian Lane is on board It'sourtime here, a horse that knows its way around this Flemington track better than most and with plenty of pace in the tank over 1200m, it looks to be a shewd outside punt.
