Recent showings at Doomben from Savour The Dream have been hugely impressive, with a 100% placing record to boast from three career outings. This is a step up in class but Savour The Dream is the one to beat here.

THE DANGER - Enterprise Defence - $3.60
A win over this course and distance at Doomben just a couple of weeks ago looks to put Enterprise Defence in a great position here and it should challenge. It will have a bit of a target on its head following its win last time out but Enterprise Defence is certainly one to watch.

VALUE BET  - Data Scramble - $3.90
With one win from one career outing, Data Scramble is an unknown quantity but it looked the part when winning at Eagle Farm last time out and it could certainly feature in this fast and furious opener at Doomben.

BEST BET - Madame Odette - $2.30
Having hit the post at Doomben in all of its last few races, it does feel like something has to change for Madame Odette, who starts as the strong favourite here. Obviously, the longer a horse goes without winning, the more questions are asked but Madame Odette should prevail in this one.

THE DANGER - Cunnamulla Fella - $4.00
By contrast, Cunnamulla Fella is in fine fettle, having won its last two races - including over the best part of course and distance here at Doomben. This one is a step up in quality but Cunnamulla Fella is one to keep an eye on in the market here.

VALUE BET - More Trouble - $5.00
Kiwi flyer More Trouble is the outlier here, a horse without much form to go off but it comes from serious stock and has some excellent pace, suggesting it could certainly be a challenger for at least a placing at Doomben.

BEST BET - Real Rush - $3.60
3-year-old Real Rush is an absolute gun of a horse and having not been seen for the best part of 5 months, it should come back refreshed and ready to challenge here. It may take longer than 1200m to get up to speed but it should be a contender here.

THE DANGER - Avone - $4.00
Inconsistency has blighted Avone's career of late and it will need to demonstrate a completely different level of performance to win here but this is a horse that has a great race in the tank and it could contend here at Doomben.

VALUE BET - Spiritual Song - $9.50
A stunning win on debut at Eagle Farm has seen Spiritual Song propel to the forefront of many punters and betting sites for this one. This is a clear step up in trip but Spiritual Song is certainly one to keep an eye on.
