Form has been stunning of late from Priscilla's Choice, with some strong placings coming across many tracks in South Australia - including here at Morphettville and it should be one to watch, despite having to stretch the legs a touch at 1600m.

VALUE BET  - Pointless Praise - $8.00
By contrast, Pointless Praise is a horse that has lacked form of late, especially in this type of race but there is a very strong runner within and if conditions suit and it gets a clean run, it could be one to keep an eye on here.

Having recorded four wins on the spin coming into this one, Favourite Child is undoubtedly the hot favourite to bag a 5th triumph in a row and it should relish the running conditions here at Morphettville, making it almost impossible to stop.

THE DANGER - Brave Star - $5.50
It will take something special from the field to cause an upset here but Brave Star is a horse with bags of potential and the Kiwi flyer should relish sneaking under the radar in this one and it is not without a chance. 

VALUE BET - Kingswood - $7.00
A very similar synopsis can be made for British flyer Kingswood, a horse that comes from serious stock and with a decent reputation. Confidence is the key objective here and a good run would give all concerned a welcome boost.

Topping the betting here is a very intriguing prospect in Kuroyanagi, who has impressed hugely in its only three career outings so far but a chance in trainer and approach could be on display here, with 1050m likely to be a very good fit.

THE DANGER - Arabian Summer - $3.90 
A win three months ago over this distance at Doomben is a huge tick in the box for Arabian Summer but this is its first outing since picking up a minor injury and it will be interesting to see how it goes, in this very strong field at Morphettville.

VALUE BET - Whistlefield - $11.00
Despite the presence of some excellent horses in this one, Whistlefield is a very good horse, who looks to have snuck under the radar a touch in the busy betting market and it could certainly lay down a decent challenge in this one.
