BEST BET - #2 - Close At Hand - (BEST BET)
Close At Hand will look to build on his 2nd place finish at this track last month. He should be fitter second-up too.

THE DANGER - #6 - Lieutenant Dunbar
Should be in the mix. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.

VALUE BET - #5 - Capo Veloce
Usually likes this track and has been good second-up before. Could get the job done if things go his way.

BEST BET - #7 - Infuriated - (NEXT BEST)
Coming off a solid effort at Bunbury, running 4th and just outside the placings. But I think it can likely improve in this race.

THE DANGER - #12 - Rommel's Goddess
Last run was a 5th finish at Ascot over 1400m in a Cls 1. But, I think Rommel's Goddess could run well here from barrier 7.

VALUE BET - #3 - Thorogood
It hit the track on November 9 and Thorogood put in a solid effort, finishing 5th out of 12. Wednesday's race sees some good odds to have a crack, I think. With Chanel Cooper on board, that gives me confidence too.

BEST BET - #4 - Noble Connection
Brad Parnham was on board last run and won over 1690m at Bunbury. So I think that's a good form guide for Wednesday's race and should be tough to beat down the straight.

THE DANGER - #7 - My Idol
Coming off a decent effort at Pinjarra Scarpside, finishing 4th. A strong chance to make up for it here.

VALUE BET - #1 - Biondo
I like the look of Biondo in Race 7 at Ascot on Wednesday. Previously won at Bunbury over 1400m, carrying 58kg. That was a really good win, so I think Biondo should be tough to beat on Wednesday too. Seems like it should run well and should be a solid bet for punters.

Mid-week racing continues in 2025 around the country with some quality meetings. Unfortunately, Caulfield Heath has been abandoned due to track conditions but there’s plenty of other racing action. Warwick Farm is back with its Wednesday racing meeting and there are 7 races on the card. They’re also racing at Eagle Farm, Ascot, Mornington and Devonport.
