Vanishing has only raced twice but has shown plenty of promise. On debut, she came from well back to win at Ballarat in a Maiden over 1100m. In her second start, she held her ground to finish 3rd of 9 at Werribee over 1100m on slow ground. 

THE DANGER - #4 - Xtramagic

Xtramagic is second-up on Wednesday. First-up after a five-month break, she came from well back to win by a nose at Ballarat. Previously, second-up she came from midfield to score a big win at Horsham in a Maiden. She's fitter now and should be a strong contender in this similar race.

VALUE BET - #1 - Written Royalty (Roughie of the Day)

Written Royalty is a gelding returning from a spell and has a good first-up record. He finished off last preparation with a 9th of 12 at Flemington over 1200m. Previously, first-up he finished 6th of 11 at Bairnsdale on a soft track.

BEST BET - #2 - Falcon Of Malta (Best of the Day)

Falcon Of Malta is looking strong as he heads into his third run today. First-up, he finished 4th of 7 at Yarra Valley. In his second run, he led most of the way before getting edged out late to finish 2nd of 8 at Caulfield in the Vgold Mile over 1600m.

THE DANGER - #15 - Brave Miss

Brave Miss is second-up and looking sharp. First-up after an eight-month break, she was the favourite and dominated by 6 lengths at Werribee. Previously, in her second-up run, she came from midfield to win  at Moe in a maiden over 1600m on a rain-affected track.

VALUE BET - #6 - Vail Mountain

Vail Mountain is on a three-run winning streak and is hard to ignore. In his latest run, he was the favourite and won at Cranbourne. Before that, he also won as the favourite over 1500m on a soft track.

Gronkowski is my solid pick. In his latest run, he tracked the speed and finished strong, securing a big win at Warrnambool in a BM64 over 1300m on a soft track. Before that, he was 5th of 9 at Yarra Valley over 1500m. He’s got a great chance to win again.

THE DANGER - #13 - Apache Song

Apache Song is third-up today. First-up, she finished 7th of 10 at Flemington in a 3yo Fillies BM70 over 1100m on April 25, 4.5 lengths behind Pondalowie with 56.5kg at $11. In her second run, she came from midfield to win by a nose at Sandown.

VALUE BET - #14 - Dismount

Dismount is also third-up today and has placed third-up in the past. Resuming, he came from last on the turn to finish 6th of 11 at Bairnsdale. Last start, he tracked the speed and boxed on to win by 1.3 lengths at Echuca.
