Wednesday Racing Tips - Doomben Racecourse 27/11/2024

Wednesday racing continues with a mid-week meeting at Doomben. Here are some free horse racing tips and multi bets to enjoy.

BEST BET - #5 - Midnight In Tokyo - (BEST BET)
Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 10 in the Open at Doomben on November 9. That race was over 1200m on a good track and it came in 0.3 lengths behind Ned's Gully (54kg). Definitely among the winning chances. In fantastic form and I hope that the momentum keeps on going.

THE DANGER - #7 - Navyonthehighway
Navyonthehighway usually eats up the track at Doomben as she is undefeated in 3 career starts. She’s also a winner at this distance, which was also at this track. In good form and I think it’s a danger.

VALUE BET - #9 - Oughton
In its recent race at Eagle Farm, Oughton came in third, not too far behind 1st and 2nd. After that run, it should have a good chance of running a place in this race. Melbourne Cup winning jockey Robbie Dolan is in good form and should be able to get a good run. Loves the distance and I hope that continues over the 1350m.

BEST BET - #2 - Bubba's Bay - (NEXT BEST)
With Mallyon on board last start, won at Doomben (1200m). So hopefully that form continues into Wednesday's race. On Wednesday, Andrew Mallyon is in the saddle and knows how to win. Get on board. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.

THE DANGER - #3 - Appin Girl
In strong form and has good claims to win on Wednesday. The last start was an almost win, finishing 2nd in a BM85 over 1000m at Eagle Farm. Not a lot of queries with this one, it should be able to beat this field.

VALUE BET - #11 - Saltaire
Saltaire showed form on October 26 at Doomben , placing 2nd out of 9 in an Open on a good track, just 2.0 lengths behind Tiger Shark (55kg) with 52kg at $4.80. After that race, I think Saltaire can potentially improve and possibly get the win this time.

BEST BET - #13 - Busting
Last start, this horse tried its best but was just not good enough in the end, finishing 4th of 10 at Doomben in a BM68 over 1110m, 1.2 lengths behind Thankyou Henry (58kg). But I'm backing it to get into the top three this time or maybe even get the win for punters on Wednesday.

THE DANGER - #12 - Bossed Up
Last time on the track, it placed 3rd out of 11 in the Cls 3 at Toowoomba on September 28. That race was on a heavy track and it came in 0.2 lengths behind Biographer (60kg). Should be in the mix. I think it could be a nice safe each way bet.

VALUE BET - #2 - Epic Proportions
I'm a big fan of Epic Proportions in Race 9 at Doomben on Wednesday. On November 2, won over 1200m at Eagle Farm, carrying 60kg. That was a solid win, so I believe that Epic Proportions could win on Wednesday as well. I think it's a real genuine each way chance.
