BEST BET - #4 - Leaving Las Vegas - (BEST BET)
Leaving Las Vegas showed promise at Morphettville on December 28, finishing 2nd out of 14 in a Mdn on a good track, just 2.3 lengths behind Shadow Eagle (57.5kg) with 55.5kg at $2.90. With that run under its belt, Leaving Las Vegas is expected to improve and I think is a strong contender for this race. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.

THE DANGER - #7 - Top Maverick
In strong form and has good claims to win on Wednesday. Last start was an almost win, finishing 2nd in a Mdn over 1200m at Mornington. All in all, I think this runner has a good chance of taking this race or at least running a place.

VALUE BET - #3 - Dasher
Its latest race at Seymour Mdn on December 29, it managed to get 4th place out of 11, pretty good effort.

I like the form of Statice for Race 7 at Geelong on Wednesday. Won at Seymour over 1000m on December 29. Should get a good run from this barrier, watch it in the straight.

THE DANGER - #7 - Enright
Enright showed some promise at Mornington last time. In it's last start, Enright placed 3rd out of 9 in a Cls 1 on December 27 over 1200m, on a good track, just 0.6 lengths behind Mintman (58kg) with 57.5kg at $6.50.

VALUE BET - #3 - Hampton Palace
Racing well lately and should be a good value bet on Wednesday. He has placed fourth-up before and the trip should suit it.

BEST BET - #11 - Jenni The Tank
Jenni The Tank hasn’t let down her punters yet in her short 3 race career. She’s been getting progressively better as she builds up her fitness and she should be in peak form on Wednesday. She comes off a nice win at Bendigo over 2400m and previously finished 2nd over 2200m. Should enjoy the trip.

THE DANGER - #8 - Sun Gift
In great form at the moment and should be in the mix. Won her last race and has finished in the top 2 in 3 straight races. The query is the distance but if she overcomes that, she can win this.

VALUE BET - #6 - Star Testymony
In its last race on January 1 at Terang, he got the win by a nose, winning by 0.1 lengths. He carried 60kg and managed to beat Stardom Awaayts (61.5kg) at $6.50 odds. So it could challenge this field.
