BEST BET - #2 - Cheval Savant - (BEST BET)
Back in class and should get back into form. He comes off a 10th finish at Randwick. But before that, he won at the same track. He’s a winner at the 2000m distance before and should be dangerous in an easier race.

THE DANGER - #6 - Confetti Garden
Last start, beat Magic Princess (56kg) at Stony Creek over 1600m at the starting price of $4.80. That was a good win and I like Confetti Garden on Wednesday too, especially with Liam Riordan on board from Barrier 3. Currently in excellent racing form, definitely the one to watch in this race.

VALUE BET - #4 - Romans Luck
In its last race, we saw this horse finish 6th of 10 at Mornington in a RST64 over 2000m. However, I think Romans Luck can do a better job here from barrier 5.

In its latest run at Flemington BM70 on January 1, it held its ground and snagged 4th place out of 7, not too bad.

THE DANGER - #1 - Araletta
Emily Pozman was on board the last run and won over 1200m at Mornington. So I think that's a good form guide for Wednesday's race and should be tough to beat down the straight. Looks like a perfect bet for punters.

VALUE BET - #4 - Miss Winslet
Back from a spell and loves this distance. She has 2 wins from 6 over the 1200m trip.

BEST BET - #2 - Ziryab
Last run, took down One Long Day (60kg) over 1500m at Caulfield Heath (starting price: $6.00). I think that was an impressive win, so I'm backing Ziryab to get the win on Wednesday, especially from barrier 3 with Mark Zahra in the saddle. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances.

THE DANGER - #4 - Capricorn Star
Going for 3 straight wins and Jamie Mott is loving riding this mare. The pair have 4 wins in 9 starts and have placed in 7 of 9 too.

VALUE BET - #10 - Itsukushima
Coming off a nice win at Cranbourne over 1500m with Sarah Field in the saddle. This race should be suitable and I think it can potentially win it.
