BEST BET - #1 - Jambalaya - (BEST BET)
Last race, placed 3rd of 6 at Canterbury in a BM68 over 1100m, just 0.5 lengths behind Tartaglia (58kg) carrying 60kg at $2.20. Should enjoy the 1000m. Looks like a perfect bet for punters.

THE DANGER - #2 - Don't Doubt Merlin
I like the look of Don't Doubt Merlin in Race 3 at Warwick Farm on Wednesday. Previously won at Wyong over 1100m, carrying 59kg. That was a really good win, so I think Don't Doubt Merlin should be tough to beat on Wednesday too. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.

VALUE BET - #3 - Flightcrew
Nash Rawiller is in the saddle and has won at this distance in her career. She also has a good second-up record.

BEST BET - #2 - Pioneer Lass - (NEXT BEST)
Last race was a 3rd place finish at Hawkesbury over 1400m. Loves the 1600m trip and should be fitter second-up. I think it's a real genuine chance of winning.

THE DANGER - #3 - Zakiyya
Zakiyya isn’t in the best form but this race should be a bit easier. Trained by Chris Waller and has a 40% place career percentage.

VALUE BET - #4 - Tavolo
Tavolo has won this prep and comes off a decent run, so it could run a place.

Gai Waterhouse presents Invincible Spy on Wednesday and he’s already won 4 of 7 career starts. He has won first-up before and usually loves this distance. The one to beat.

THE DANGER - #4 - Aix En Provence
Aix En Provence has a proven track record of finishing in the top 3 and should give the favourites in this field a run for their money. He’s been good second-up before and comes off a 3rd at Canterbury last month.

VALUE BET - #9 - Investment
In its latest race at Canterbury BM68 on November 20, it managed to get 4th place out of 7, pretty good effort. Gets the inside barrier and could challenge the favourites. Also, has won third-up before.

Wednesday’s racing action takes us to Caulfield Heath with an 8 race card. Some of the best jockeys are at the track on Wednesday so the racing should be good quality. The track is looking in nice condition after plenty of rain in Victoria recently and there shouldn’t be any rain around the area on Wednesday, a nice & sunny 22 degrees. There are races at Warwick Farm too, a key mid-week track in Australia. It’s just a small 6 race card but there should be plenty of best bets to back.
