Beer eyes down first Group racing success
Mitch beer is a firing young Aussie trainer who you just can’t hate. He recorded his first listed win with Mnementh in the Santa Ana Lane Series Final a few weeks back as an $11 shot and we actually had him as our third elect bet for that race in our Saturday racing Tips.
Shinn rode him a peach that day who is now replaced by Craig Williams for this Saturday’s assignment. The assignment is the 1200m Bletchingly Stakes at Rosehill that should see him meet a few rivals that he nailed last time out and hopefully he can get the chocolates again.
He’s the fourth elect in betting currently at a firm $5.50 with not much separating him and the two ahead of him. The current favourite is Godolphin’s Intigrating as Cummings poached Shinn for the ride off his last start win on Mnementh.
As for the horse, who at one point in his career was running at Non tab tracks and getting beaten in far far easier company than this, Beer has stated:
"The bar keeps going up and he keeps rising to the occasion, which is terrific."
Mitch continued on to talk about his condition leading into this, and things look promising. Speaking off the back of his last run:
"He pulled up terrific … no issues whatsoever, he worked really well on the course proper here Tuesday, albeit on really soft conditions, but I was rapt with him," Beer said.
Mnementh defeated It'sourtime last run, the $4.60 third elect in betting on Saturday. As for the Favorite and Second Favourite, they both come out of the Group 3 Sir John Monash Stakes last Saturday.

Saturday Racing Big Bets
It’s set to be a big weekend in horse racing betting and the Aussie betting sites have already taken on some big wagers which we will take a look at below as they are very valuable insights into how much market strength a runner has.
We kick off with the biggest bet of the Weekend currently across the Australian betting sites which is:
Caulfield - R2 - #3 - Moveforlex

Other notable bets across the Aussie betting sites are a $3000 bet on #6 - Amigo at $8.00 odds in race 1 at Caulfield and $500 on #10 - Netanyahu in race 9 at Caulfield at $20 odds! Saturday’s Biggest Market Pushes
It’s clearly going to be a big weekend in horse racing betting across the aussie betting sites as the market movements have been crazy since racing markets opened on Wednesday for the Weekend and we take a look at some of the biggest movers across the main three tracks below.
The biggest push I have seen thus far is for the Maher and Eustace trained Chorlton Lane who has been backed in to almost half his opening quote from $4.40 to a market high of $2.40 with Tab and shorter everywhere else. He races in Rosehill race 7 so watch to see what happens before the jump.
Another runner who we have in our Saturday Racing tips as our elect second best bet of the day is Reliable Ruby who runs in race four at the course and we backed at around ~$5.00 across all the aussie betting sites. He’s firmed in from an $8.00 quote to around $4.50. You have to be following our best bets tips to pick up this early value!
One of the more interesting runners that has been quite aggressively backed in since the market opened is Minervini trained Hosier who comes into this second up and has been backed in from a huge quote of $91.00 to just $20.00 across the Aussie betting apps. I’m not sure he wins that race but I would be betting the place at around $6.00 everywhere just due to the market's strength alone.
