On Friday, the racing continues with some expected quality races at Moonee Valley. I like the look of Cleo Cat at Moonee Valley in Race 3. I also like the look of Octrainin Race 6 at Moonee Valley. At Moonee Valley, the track conditions should be nice for race day, it's a good 4 rating at the moment. Let's get into the free Australian horse racing tips!

Best Tip: Cleo Cat #2 Moonee Valley R3

Cleo Cat is undefeated in her career with 3 straight wins on the trot. Let’s hope she can make it 4. Last start, beat Littlebourkestreet (58.5kg) at Ballarat over 1000m at the starting price of $1.85. That was a good win and I like Cleo Cat on Friday too, especially with Jordan Childs on board from Barrier 1. Before that, Cleo Cat finished first at Terang in a BM58 on February 23, 2024, over 1200m. She has run on good track conditions in 3 straight races so the Valley track should be suitable as well. Not a lot of queries with this one, it should be able to beat this field.

Best Roughie: Octrain #4 Moonee Valley R6

Octrain came 2nd at this track last start over 955m and should be even better second-up. He has 3 wins on good tracks and he comes off a good run at this track. When he was second-up before, he placed back in March. He also enjoys the short distance and should get a good run with Teodore Nugent in the saddle again. Good odds for an each-way bet.

On the weekend, Kimochi stormed home to beat Another Wil in the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes. While in the Guineas, Another Prophet took home the win, holding off the field in the straight. In The Hunter, Briasa made it 6 wins from 7 starts and Tyler Schiller continued his winning ways in the saddle, now with 4 wins in 4 starts on board.

The Spring Racing Carnival is almost over but we still have some Group one races to watch this Saturday. Over in WA, the Railway Stakes will take place at Ascot Racecourse and The Gong is the feature race at Kembla Grange in NSW.

For the racing action this week, I’m betting with PlayUp for a number of reasons. They always have some nice betting sites bonuses available for existing customers that I like to take advantage of. I also think they have one of the top horse racing apps in Australia for betting on races and sports as well.

PlayUp is also known for offering competitive odds when it comes to thoroughbred racing. You can usually get some of the highest odds in the industry, especially when they offer promos. Enjoy the week of the racing and hope you can back some winners with our free horse racing tips!
