A solid day of racing ahead this Monday and I am keen to get the ball rolling this week again with cards set for Taree racecourse and the Sapphire Coast racecourse. Craving Magic has been crying out for a win and I think he gets his chance here for the Potter stable now. He’s had two runs back from a spell and both have been very close to winning efforts when stepping out here first up and running very strongly to beat all but the winner who had the gun run before stepping out at Queanbeyan last time out and again running very strongly, looked the winner, and was just gunned down very late in the piece. He’s hard fit now third up, Martin gets the booking and he should win here.

Thedaythemusicdied can hit back hard here for the Owen stable and should be right at his peak third up. He put in an awesome effort here when resuming from a sixteen week spell where he stepped out in a strong field and battled on very well behind a dominant winner to place runner up. There’s been three subsequent winners out of that race and after running a tough race where he was posted wide and near the back last time out he now comes back to this track hard fit third up and ready to fire. Top chance.
