Keep Reading caught my eye when resuming, shortening from $10 to $7 and delivering a solid on-pace win. This horse holds its form well second up, sparking my interest for Saturday. After a seven-month break, Keep Reading stayed near the speed and boxed on to win by 1 length at Morphettville Parks in a Bm80 on May 18 over 1000m, beating Chosen Blonde with 60kg at $7.50.

Previously, it finished 4th of 14 at Morphettville in a Bm82 on May 13, 2023, over 1100m, 1.75 lengths behind Queman with 57.5kg at $11. This is a handy type that can measure up here.

Heman has been freshened up and gelded since his last run, which I think could unlock his potential. Don't underestimate this Group 3 placegetter. He resumes after a 49-day break. Last start, he was 10th of 15 at Randwick in the LR S/Pacific on April 13 over 1400m on a slow track, 3.5 lengths behind Panic with 55.5kg at $19.

Before that, he finished 7th of 11 at this track in the G2 Phar Lap on March 16 over 1500m on a slow track, 5 lengths behind Zardozi carrying 57kg at $19. But he's a swooper to watch late in the race.
