Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 10 in the Open at Caulfield on August 17. That race was over 1400m on a good track and it came in 0.6 lengths behind Pinstriped (59kg). Definitely among the winning chances. Previously, 2nd of 6 at Rosehill Barrier Trial-Open on August 6, 2024 over 1000m. Loves this track, it’s yet to finish outside the top 3. Has had success when running second-up, so I like its chances on Saturday. Racing well at the moment, good odds to win.

Best Roughie: I Am Me #7 Randwick R7
In its last race at Goulburn on August 25, it came out on top with a winning margin of 1.0 length. It held off Master Joe, which was pretty good to watch at odds. So, it's looking in good touch for this race. Before that, I Am Me finished first at Warwick Farm in a Barrier Trial-Open on August 12, 2024, over 900m. Solid top 3 record at the track. Should enjoy the distance (1000m). Has had success before in dry conditions so the track conditions should suit. Has been good before when it's first-up as well, winning 3 of 5 starts and placing in all of them too.

- At the Moonee Valley track, the #3 barrier has the most successful win percentage since 2017.
- Randwick is a very wide track with a good run-in that makes it one of the fairest tracks around. It’s hard to say backmarkers are advantaged, but they are the closest thing to advantaged at Randwick Racecourse.
- The first 3-4 races in most meetings are called "Maidens" and these races are usually risky and unpredictable. This is because the runners are usually making their debut or have only had a few starts. So it's advisable to stay from these races unless you have a good bankroll.
