Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 16/11/24

Check out the free racing tips and best bets for Saturday's racing at Caulfield. I'm heading to Caulfield for my best bet of the day in Race 10. Meanwhile, my roughie of the day is Legacy Bay at Caulfield in Race 6. At Caulfield, the track conditions should be nice for race day, it's a good 4 rating at the moment. Let's get into it!

Last time out, it had a perfect run and won, looking much fitter. This horse knows how to bring the heat and last time out at Caulfield, it showed us exactly what he's made of. With Jordan Childs in the saddle, it's a force to be reckoned with and could very well take the win again. Before that, Niance finished first at Flemington in a BM78 on May 18, 2024, over 1200m. Caulfield stats are excellent, having not finished outside the top 3 yet. Seems to love this distance with a good career record. Loves dry conditions, the track at Caulfield should be nice. Rates a terrific bet, I think.

Last run, took down Lunar Module (57.5kg) over 1100m at Sale (starting price: $5.00). I think that was an impressive win, so I'm backing Legacy Bay to get the win on Saturday, especially from barrier 3 with Carleen Hefel in the saddle. Before that, Legacy Bay finished first at Bendigo in an Mdn on July 25, 2024, over 1100m. Decent win rate in its career. Likes running in dry conditions. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances. Good odds for an each-way bet.

Last weekend we witnessed five quality Group 1 races at Flemington and Rosehill. Mr Brightside held on to win the Champions Mile and Via Sistina continued her winning ways in the Champions Stakes. This week, the Spring Racing carnival continues with the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes, Thousand Guineas and The Hunter. Another Wil is the current favourite to win the Stakes and Aeliana is currently a short-priced favourite to win the Guineas.
