Follow along with me for the best free horse racing tips on race day! Thursday's racing action takes us to Hawkesbury and Cranbourne and I have found a best bet for you at betting sites in Australia. There's also a juicy roughie to get on board. Strapparsi has caught my eye in Race 8 at Hawkesbury. I also like the look of Clingerin Race 7 at Cranbourne. The Hawkesbury track is looking decent for race day on Thursday, its a soft 6 rating at this stage. It will be a soft 7 at Cranbourne on Thursday, so take that into account when you're playing bets. Let's get into it!

Best Tip: Strapparsi #4 Hawkesbury R8

In its last run, Strapparsi placed 4th at Scone on July 17 over 1000m, just 2.0 lengths behind Hulu. I think it can run well here too. Previously, 1st of 4 at Beaumont Barrier Trial-Open on June 28, 2024 over 800m. Likes running on wet tracks and tomorrow's track should be nice. Looked good first-up and should be even fitter now.

Best Roughie: Clinger #9 Cranbourne R7

Clinger is first-up on Thursday. Has a positive first-up record in its career. Last time this horse hit the track, Clinger put in a better effort, and that's something to take note of for Thursday's race. With Jamie Kah riding, you know that Clinger has got a jockey who can handle business. Previously, 1st of 7 at Pakenham Mdn on April 11, 2024 over 1200m. Has a 50% career win rate so it knows how to win. Loves the distance and I hope that continues over the 1200m. The wet track should pose no problems. Has been good before when it's first-up.
