I have horse racing best bets of the day to enjoy for Tuesday's racing at Tamworth and Ararat. I like the look of Zampano at Tamworth in Race 3. Also, for my roughie bet, I've got my eye on Verbosity in Race 9 at Ararat. At Tamworth, the track conditions should be nice for race day, it's a good 4 rating at the moment. The track is rated a good 5 for racing at Ararat on Tuesday. Let's get into it!
Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 26/11/24
Best Tip: Zampano #2 Tamworth R3
In its last race at Gunnedah on May 26, it came out on top with a winning margin of 0.5 lengths. It was carrying 59.5kg and held off Rivana (54.5kg), which was pretty good to watch at $1.18 odds. So, it's looking in good touch for this race. Before that, Zampano finished first at Tamworth in an Open on April 26, 2024, over 1000m. Likes running at Tamworth, among the dangers for sure. Good stats at the distance too, bodes well for Tuesday. Likes dry conditions, rates highly.

Best Roughie: Verbosity #3 Ararat R9
Last race was a 3rd place finish at Dunkeld over 1200m Previously, 4th of 10 at Hamilton BM64 on November 8, 2024 over 1200m. At the distance of 1300m, Verbosity has been impressive. In 4 career starts at this trip, he has 2 wins and 2 seconds, so I think that sets him up well for Tuesday’s race. It will be his first race at the track but he has a good record on soft tracks, so I don’t think that will be an issue. Good odds to place an each-way bet as I think it should be in the mix.

Last Saturday was another great day of racing around Australia and it was headlined by The Gong (1600m) at Kembla Grange. Gringotts, trained by Ciaron Maher, held off the field to win by 0.8 lengths in a stunning finish. While over in Perth, Port Lockroy won the Railway Stakes at Ascot Racecourse for the Annabel Neasham stable.
This week, the Group 1 races continue in Western Australia with the Winterbottom Stakes on Saturday afternoon. Horse racing promos are a nice way to get enjoy the action and OldGill is a site I’m using this week. It’s one of the new bookies out there so they don’t have a massive range of features yet. But they have the basics covered when it comes to betting on the races.
One of their best features is same race multi, which is available for a lot of top meetings. The guys also offer protest payout and best tote odds. There is also a blended Dutch betting feature, which is pretty unique. Along with an easy to use website / mobile app, I think they should be able to keep the racing excitement going this week, just before Summer rolls around.
