The Group 1 races season is in full tilt with massive listed racing approaching again this weekend but for now we focus on our Friday tips and I have posted full length free horse racing tips for Taree and Moonee Valley racecourse as well as a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day. It’s going to be a big day of racing with the listed feature of the day at Taree and the racing under the lights at The Valley so we are also looking to pick up some more lucrative bets and as usual I am continuing the strategy that has been having success in focusing on exacta betting as it continues to pay off so lets get stuck back into things so follow me below for another solid day of exotics betting below!
Best Exotic Tips of the Day | October 6th
Exacta - Moonee Valley - R1
1st: 1, 5
2nd: 1, 4, 5, 6
The #1 is my best bet of the day at Moonee Valley and whilst I think he is a top chance at winning he is going to have to beat off one challenger undoubtedly in the #5 so I have thrown him in there as well as a means of saving against the bet.
Exacta - Moonee Valley - R7
1st: 4, 5, 9, 10
2nd: 4, 5, 9, 10
Whilst I am pretty keen on the #10 here at the Valley who is my roughie of the day in my Friday tips at the course I think that all of my selections are winning chances and most are at good enough odds to make this a big payout
Exacta - Taree - R3
2nd: 4, 6, 8
Best bet of the day here at Taree and I am very confident on this bet in the seven so I am using this bet to effectively double down on my best bets tips / Friday tips. I think that this likely gets up and would be a nice payout in combination with the straight bet on the #7
Stats and Insights
- Trifecta betting can prove extremely lucrative when a higher odds runner fills any of the spots in the trifecta as it massively boosts the total odds.
- 50% of runners that finish first in the trifecta were placed in their start prior
- More than 65% of runners that finish second in trifectas finished 1st-5th in their start prior
- A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two
