The Group 1 races season is just about coming to an end off the back of the Melbourne Cup today and I have posted full length free horse racing tips for each of the aforementioned racecourses. In addition to my Wednesday tips there is also a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.

It’s going to be a big day of racing with bumper cards set for Kempsey racecourse and Pakenham racecourse with a solid feature race of the day at each. We are looking to pick up some more lucrative bets and as usual I am continuing the strategy that has been having success in focusing on exacta betting as it continues to pay off so lets get stuck back into things so follow me below for another solid day of exotics betting below!

My roughie of the day here at Kempsey and I think that whilst he is a good chance I do think that the joint favourites in this race are honest chances of winning and I am keen to take a bit of a hedge position here. Full write up in my Friday Tips at Kempsey.

Very competitive race here at Kempsey with the #2 being my next best bet of the day but I do think that all of my selections are winning chances and as such I have put all of them in for both lines of betting, they’re all at quite good prices ($4+) so any combination should see this pay well. 1st: 11
2nd: 4, 5, 12

Doubling down here on my best bet of the day at Pakenham and in my best bets tips. It would be a great pay out on this race if both the bet and this exotics bet came in. Trifecta betting can prove extremely lucrative when a higher odds runner fills any of the spots in the trifecta as it massively boosts the total odds.
50% of runners that finish first in the trifecta were placed in their start prior
More than 65% of runners that finish second in trifectas finished 1st-5th in their start prior
A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two

I am an avid horse racing enthusiast and punter. Growing up in Randwick, I have been surrounded by racing through stories from the elderly’s past endeavours to the racecourse and owners that are friends of the family. I am also a data-scientist and am fascinated and intrigued by the algorithmic approach to form. I’ve has become more involved with racing over the past few years due to simultaneously delving deeper into the sport and learning how to apply a data driven approach to punting. Beyond Racing, I am an avid NRL fan and MMA fan, the latter of which I have largely applied the same philosophy of methodical, data driven punting towards and found solid success in the MMA space and I continue to track and improve my strategies.
