Exotic Tips of the Day

The Group 1 races season has come to an end but a new year has started there’s still big racing again tomorrow with two great midweek cards at Gosford racecourse and Cranbourne racecourse that see some very progressive horses from the two premier racing states in the country and I have posted full length free horse racing tips for each of the aforementioned racecourses. In addition to my Friday tips there is also a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.

It’s going to be a big day of racing with bumper cards set for Gosford racecourse and Cranbourne racecourse and We are looking to pick up some more lucrative bets and as usual I am continuing the strategy that has been having success in focusing on exacta betting as it continues to pay off so lets get stuck back into things so follow me below for another solid day of exotics betting below!

Exacta - Cranbourne - R3

1st: 2, 5
2nd: 1, 2, 5, 11

My next best bet of the day at Cranbourne racecourse here in the #2 but I do think that the running favourite has to have been backed for a reason, being the #5, and so this is a kind of hedge bet as I rate them as the main chances. Exacta at 833% @ Playup (Best of three totes)

1st: 1, 4, 6, 7
2nd: 1, 4, 6, 7

There looks to be a bunch of key chances in this race tomorrow but I do think that between my four selections two of them are going to fill the exacta and given that two of them are at $4.00 odds and two of them are at $9.00 odds a combination of the runners should create a great payout for us! 2nd: 1, 3, 7

We have been going so well with this type of exotic bet with another win this past Wednesday and whilst it didn’t pay the biggest it is nice when it compounds with our best bet of the day. I am hoping to find another winner this Friday by doubling down on my best bet of the day here at Gosford racecourse Other selections in for second. Trifecta betting can prove extremely lucrative when a higher odds runner fills any of the spots in the trifecta as it massively boosts the total odds.
50% of runners that finish first in the trifecta were placed in their start prior
More than 65% of runners that finish second in trifectas finished 1st-5th in their start prior
A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two

I am an avid horse racing enthusiast and punter. Growing up in Randwick, I have been surrounded by racing through stories from the elderly’s past endeavours to the racecourse and owners that are friends of the family. I am also a data-scientist and am fascinated and intrigued by the algorithmic approach to form. I’ve has become more involved with racing over the past few years due to simultaneously delving deeper into the sport and learning how to apply a data driven approach to punting. Beyond Racing, I am an avid NRL fan and MMA fan, the latter of which I have largely applied the same philosophy of methodical, data driven punting towards and found solid success in the MMA space and I continue to track and improve my strategies.
