Exotic Tips of the Day

The Group 1 races season has come to an end but a new year has started there’s still big racing again tomorrow with two great Friday cards at Canterbury racecourse and Cranbourne racecourse that see some very progressive horses from the two premier racing states in the country and I have posted full length free horse racing tips for each of the aforementioned racecourses. In addition to my Wednesday tips there is also a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.

It’s going to be a big day of racing with bumper cards set for Cranbourne racecourse and Canterbury racecourse and We are looking to pick up some more lucrative bets and as usual I am continuing the strategy that has been having success in focusing on exacta betting as it continues to pay off so lets get stuck back into things so follow me below for another solid day of exotics betting below!

My next best bet of the day at Cranbourne here and I think that the #7 is a very good chance of putting these away but he will have to beat the favourite who is clearly a strong horse and the market is backing with a bit of confidence. My roughie of the day is stepping out here at Carnbourne, being the #5 and whilst I think he is a good chance at a nice price I think my four selections are the main winning chances and with all of them being at bigger odds if any of the horses make up the exacta it will be a very solid payout. We have been going so well with this type of exotic bet with another win on Wednesday with the racing in NSW. 50% of runners that finish first in the trifecta were placed in their start prior
More than 65% of runners that finish second in trifectas finished 1st-5th in their start prior
A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two

# Today's Tip

I am an avid horse racing enthusiast and punter. Growing up in Randwick, I have been surrounded by racing through stories from the elderly’s past endeavours to the racecourse and owners that are friends of the family. I am also a data-scientist and am fascinated and intrigued by the algorithmic approach to form. I’ve has become more involved with racing over the past few years due to simultaneously delving deeper into the sport and learning how to apply a data driven approach to punting. Beyond Racing, I am an avid NRL fan and MMA fan, the latter of which I have largely applied the same philosophy of methodical, data driven punting towards and found solid success in the MMA space and I continue to track and improve my strategies.
