The Autumn Group 1 races season is approaching it’s peak this weekend with massive Group 1 races in NSW and VIC this weekend and we kick things off with two solid Friday cards to lead us in. My best bet of the day here at Cranbourne in the #7 who I think is just such an honest horse for Frank Stockdale but the market is backing the favourite, the #3, with a lot of confidence. Exacta - Scone - R4
1st: 1, 2, 4, 7
2nd: 1, 2, 4, 7
My roughie of the day steps out in this race at Scone and I think he’s a very good chance of getting up here at a nice price but he will have to knock off some sharp favourites so I have taken a sort of hedge position with this bet. Full write up in my Friday Tips at Scone or Best Bets tips.

1st: 8
2nd: 1, 6, 11
We have been going very well with this type of exotic bet, hitting back hard on a couple close misses by winning last Friday night at Kembla Grange in NSW and I am keen to keep the ball rolling and am going strong on my best bet of the day here at Scone.
