It’s been awhile since I have released free Horse racing tips but I am back as the Group 1 races season is well underway and I am keen to hit things hard again and have posted Friday tips for two of the racecourses but in this article I am looking to pick up some more lucrative bets in conjunction with my best bets tips / horse racing tips. Our strategy of focusing on exacta betting has been paying off, with two Saturdays ago in my Saturday tips having all three exotics win and I am keen to try to build some more value exotics around my tips. The below article features three exotics bets, two exactas and a trifecta that should prove lucrative if even one comes in. Let’s try get some big exotics wins across our horse racing betting sites!

Exacta - Murwillumbah - R7
1st: 8, 2
2nd: 2, 5, 8, 9
The #8 is my best bet overall at Murwillumbah racecourse and you can find my full reasoning in my Friday tips at the racecourse but I do think Kris Lees has a good challenger in the #2 and if he gets the better of him I think that the most likely exacta outcome will be 2, 8 but there are two other key chances who I think can fill the exacta.
Exacta - Geelong - R3
1st: 6
2nd: 2, 3, 10, 5
The #6 is my best bet of the day at Geelong and I am very confident in this pick, I have him in my best bets tips and friday tips at Geelong racecourse but on top of that I do think there are only four key chances to fill the exacta and have included them, two of which would make this a very lucrative bet.
Trifecta - Geelong - R6
1st: 12, 4, 10
2nd: 12, 4, 10, 8
3rd: 12, 4, 10, 9, 8
Going for all the chocolates with this one as I do think that three of these horses are likely to take out the trifecta, one of which is the roughie of the day in my best bets tips but I think there are a few more who are likely to run big races. Any combinations from these selections will do us well.

- Trifecta betting can prove extremely lucrative when a higher odds runner fills any of the spots in the trifecta as it massively boosts the total odds.
- 50% of runners that finish first in the trifecta were placed in their start prior
- More than 65% of runners that finish second in trifectas finished 1st-5th in their start prior
- A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two
