I Wish I Win: This horse just missed out in the TJ Smith Stakes fresh and was narrowly beaten in the Doomben 10,000. A strong chance to make up for it here. He's a TJ Smith Stakes winner and third-up, where he has won previously. He’s got the ability to win this.

In Secret: Resuming, this classy mare performed well in all her runs last term and has never missed the quinella when fresh. She’s a Newmarket Handicap winner and always demands attention. She’s a definite top-three contender.

Think About It: This horse has had some tough runs from wide draws recently but won this race last year and can do it again. He’s a Stradbroke Handicap winner and comes off a 56-day let-up. He’s hard to beat if he brings his A-game.

Bella Nipotina: This horse finished off strongly for a narrow but well-deserved win in the Doomben 10,000. She should be in the mix again. Last start, she won by a nose at Doomben in the G1 Doomben 10,000 on May 18 over 1200m on a rain-affected track. She’s got a big chance again.

Williamsburg: Williamsburg gave a good chase last week, but probably wanted it a bit wetter. He drops in weight and shouldn't be taken lightly. A multiple Group 1 placegetter, he's racing well. He's a genuine hope on his best form.

Sir Lucan: Sir Lucan was worn down in the final 100m by a good wet-tracker at Newcastle. He just needs to replicate that run to be in the mix. He's expected to go very well.

Sibaaq: Sibaaq hasn't won in a while, but he's rarely far off. He's been close in both runs back and just needs to run the 2000m to be a contender. First-up, he sat on speed throughout and finished 2nd of 15 at Bendigo. He’s a big chance here.

Amberite: Wasn't expected to do much on his local debut but proved too strong. He's fitter now and should appreciate the extra distance. Last start, he won by 1.5 lengths at Flemington over 1800m on soft ground. That was a strong win last time, so he's hard to knock.

Trosettee: Trosettee has had another solid second placing and should relish the rise in distance. It's been a while since his last win, but he's third-up on Saturday and has won third-up before. He's ready to peak now on the quick turnaround.

Dschingis Prestige: Didn't have much chance at Mornington but showed sound form last time at this track/trip. He's third-up on Saturday and has won third-up before. He's racing well and I think is nicely placed here.
