Spring Racing kicks on as the Group 1 races season is almost at its peak and we have a bunch of listed races across our three prominent racecourses that see racing tomorrow. I have posted full length Saturday tips for each of the tracks and in addition to that I have a best bets tips that has insights and promotions going around so it is worth checking that article out too as you will find the highest odds across the Aussie betting sites / betting apps for each of the picks in that article. In this article below we look to pick up some bigger odds bets in conjunction with my horse racing tips and I am keen on our strategy of focusing on exacta betting as it continues to pay off so lets get stuck back into things so follow me below for another solid day of exotics betting below!
Best Exotic Tips of the Day | September 9th
Exacta - Moonee Valley - R5
2nd: 1, 3, 6
The #4 is my best bet of the day at Moonee Valley tomorrow and a full write up of this race can be found in my Saturday tips. I think there are three other main chances and have included them for second but really focusing on the #4.
Exacta - Doomben - R6
1st: 3, 4
2nd: 3, 4, 5, 10
The #3 is my next best bet at Doomben and I have a full write up of my selections in my Saturday tips for Doomben but I do think he will have to get past a tough horse in the #4 and if either of those two don’t fire I have placed my other selections in for second.
Exacta - Rosehill - R8
2nd: 1, 3, 4
Similar betting strategy here to what I have done with the first exotics tip in this article as I think the #2 is a standout pick for the racing at Rosehill and you can find my full reasoning in my Saturday tips at the course and I have then included what I think to be the main chances for 2nd.
Stats and Insights
- Trifecta betting can prove extremely lucrative when a higher odds runner fills any of the spots in the trifecta as it massively boosts the total odds.
- 50% of runners that finish first in the trifecta were placed in their start prior
- More than 65% of runners that finish second in trifectas finished 1st-5th in their start prior
- A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two
