The Autumn Group 1 races season is approaching it’s peak this weekend with massive Group 1 races in NSW and VIC including the Coolmore Classic at Rosehill racecourse and All Star Mile at Caulfield racecourse. It’s going to be a big day of racing with bumper cards set for Rosehill racecourse, Caulfield racecourse and Eagle Farm racecourse. My next best bet of the day here at Eagle Farm in the #1 who I think is just such an honest horse for Matty Dunn but the market is wide in this race and the #5 is joint at around $5.00 in the market with him. My roughie of the day steps out in this race at Rosehill, the feature of the day across Australia, and whilst I do think he is well over the odds at $15.00 this is a listed race, high level, very competitive so I am backing any two of my four selections to make up would be a big pool exacta. We have been going very well with this type of exotic bet, hitting back hard on a couple close misses by winning this Friday night at Kembla Grange in NSW and I am keen to keep the ball rolling and am going strong on my best bet of the day here at Caulfield.
