Exotic Tips of the Day

The Group 1 races season has come to an end but there’s still big racing again tomorrow with two listed races at Ascot and I have posted full length free horse racing tips for each of the aforementioned racecourses. In addition to my Saturday tips there is also a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.

It’s going to be a big day of racing with bumper cards set for Randwick racecourse, Ascot racecourse and Ballarat racecourse with a massive $1.5 million listed race at Ascot in race 9 to end the day off and listed races at both Ballarat and Randwick. We are looking to pick up some more lucrative bets and as usual I am continuing the strategy that has been having success in focusing on exacta betting as it continues to pay off so lets get stuck back into things so follow me below for another solid day of exotics betting below!

1st: 1, 4
2nd: 1, 4, 5, 9

My next best bet of the day at Ascot here and I think that the #4 likely puts these away but he is facing a tough contender in the #1 and either way one of these will win, other selections in for second. Full write up in my Saturday Tips at Ascot!

Exacta - Caulfield - R9

1st: 4, 5, 8, 9
2nd: 4, 5, 8, 9

My roughie of the day here at Caulfield but I am aware that any of these horses could win this without surprising at all. Overall, if any of these runners make up the exacta we can expect a very good payout. Full write up in my Saturday tips at Ascot.

Exacta at 414% @ Punterspal (Best of three totes)

Exacta - Randwick - R4

1st: 2
2nd: 9, 10, 11

Risky move with this one but I am going all in on my best bet of the day at Randwick here with the flying Toesonthenose who we have had in our horse racing tips a few times now. Other selections in for second. Full write up in my Saturday Tips at Randwick.

Trifecta betting can prove extremely lucrative when a higher odds runner fills any of the spots in the trifecta as it massively boosts the total odds.
50% of runners that finish first in the trifecta were placed in their start prior
More than 65% of runners that finish second in trifectas finished 1st-5th in their start prior
A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two

# Today's Tip

I am an avid horse racing enthusiast and punter. Growing up in Randwick, I have been surrounded by racing through stories from the elderly’s past endeavours to the racecourse and owners that are friends of the family. I am also a data-scientist and am fascinated and intrigued by the algorithmic approach to form. I’ve has become more involved with racing over the past few years due to simultaneously delving deeper into the sport and learning how to apply a data driven approach to punting. Beyond Racing, I am an avid NRL fan and MMA fan, the latter of which I have largely applied the same philosophy of methodical, data driven punting towards and found solid success in the MMA space and I continue to track and improve my strategies.
