We had a solid day of horse racing betting this past Friday with my free horse racing tips going quite well and our exotics tips having 1 from 3 go over at $13 odds across most of the aussie betting sites and with the Group 1 races season well and truly underway I am keen to keep the momentum rolling. As usual, I have posted full length Saturday Tips on our site in addition to my best bets tips that contains the best promotions across the betting sites as well as track insights and in this article we look to secure some more lucrative bets to compliment our Saturday racing tips and as usual our exacta betting strategy has been paying off quite nicely so with three tracks racing tomorrow I have curated an exacta bet for each. Follow my exotics below for my best bet of the day at each of the courses.
Best Exotic Tips of the Day | August 26th
Exacta - Moonee Valley - R7
1st: 6
2nd: 3, 2, 4
The #6 is my best bet overall at Moonee Valley racecourse and you can find my full reasoning in my Friday tips for the racecourse and I think that there are only two or three other key chances and I have full write up in my Saturday Tips
Exacta - Rosehill - R6
1st: 1, 10, 5
2nd: 1, 10, 4, 6, 5
The #10 is my best bet of the day at Rosehill and whilst I do think he is the leading chance in this field, there has been some serious market support for the favourite (#5) and I also give a slight winning chance to the #1 so I have included both of them for first place. Exacta - Doomben - R6
1st: 2, 7
2nd: 2, 7
Now this is a race I am particularly keen to be playing the exotics in, and if you check out my Saturday Tips at Doomben you can see why. I think that the 7 has a very honest chance to roll the odds on favourite and if that is the case we would be looking at around a $10-12 odds payout. If not, I think the #2 could win dominantly here in which case we would have our bet on and hopefully the #7 comes second and we pick up a nice little double win in this race.

- Trifecta betting can prove extremely lucrative when a higher odds runner fills any of the spots in the trifecta as it massively boosts the total odds.
- 50% of runners that finish first in the trifecta were placed in their start prior
- More than 65% of runners that finish second in trifectas finished 1st-5th in their start prior
- A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two
