Exotic Tips of the Day

The Group 1 races season has come to an end and so too does the year approach it’s end but there’s still big racing again tomorrow with two listed races at Doomben racecourse and support cards at Randwick racecourse and Moonee Valley racecourse I have posted full length free horse racing tips for each of the aforementioned racecourses. In addition to my Saturday tips there is also a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.

It’s going to be a big day of racing with bumper cards set for Randwick racecourse, Moonee Valley racecourse and Doomben racecourse with two listed races at Doomben racecourse. We are looking to pick up some more lucrative bets and as usual I am continuing the strategy that has been having success in focusing on exacta betting as it continues to pay off so lets get stuck back into things so follow me below for another solid day of exotics betting below!

Exacta - Moonee Valley - R5

1st: 1, 5

2nd: 1, 4, 5, 7

My best bet of the day at Moonee Valley here and I think that the #1 is going to put these away and it will only be himself that costs him the race if he loses. However I think that if he puts a foot wrong the #5 will be right there to win. Full write up in my Saturday Tips at Moonee Valley!

Exacta at 833% @ Playup (Best of three totes)

Exacta - Doomben - R4

1st: 2, 5, 6, 9

2nd: 2, 5, 6, 9

My next best bet of the day here at Doomben but I am under the impression that any of these horses could win this without surprising at all. Overall, if any of these runners make up the exacta we can expect a sold payout but hopefully my next best bet of the day can roll the favourite and take this out at around $7.00. Exacta at 414% @ Punterspal (Best of three totes)

Exacta - Randwick - R6

1st: 7

2nd: 1, 2, 4

We have been going pretty well with this type of exotic bet and I am hoping to find another winner this weekend by doubling down on my best bet of the day here at Randwick Other selections in for second. Full write up in my Saturday Tips at Randwick.

Trifecta betting can prove extremely lucrative when a higher odds runner fills any of the spots in the trifecta as it massively boosts the total odds.
50% of runners that finish first in the trifecta were placed in their start prior
More than 65% of runners that finish second in trifectas finished 1st-5th in their start prior
A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two

I am an avid horse racing enthusiast and punter. Growing up in Randwick, I have been surrounded by racing through stories from the elderly’s past endeavours to the racecourse and owners that are friends of the family. I am also a data-scientist and am fascinated and intrigued by the algorithmic approach to form. I’ve has become more involved with racing over the past few years due to simultaneously delving deeper into the sport and learning how to apply a data driven approach to punting. Beyond Racing, I am an avid NRL fan and MMA fan, the latter of which I have largely applied the same philosophy of methodical, data driven punting towards and found solid success in the MMA space and I continue to track and improve my strategies.
