The racing action is back on Thursday and I'm here to help you back some winners! Here are some sneaky exotic tips for the top 3 races of the day.
Best Exotic Tips of the Day | 03/10/24
Exacta - Ballarat - R4
1st: 12, 1, 4, 3
2nd: 12, 1, 4, 3
Athanatos: Last race, Athanatos ran a place (2nd) at Flemington over 1420m with Thomas Stockdale on board, just finishing behind the winner (Swiftfalcon (61.5kg)). Should get a lot of confidence from that run and should be a good bet again.
Autumn Storm: In its latest race at Sandown-Hillside Mdn on September 18, it managed to get 4th place out of 12, pretty good effort.
Eclipsion: Last race at Seymour, Eclipsion was right up there in the finish, just placing second. He showed some speed and battled on fairly well. In this race, I think it's got another suitable draw, which should make it tough to beat. In its last start, Eclipsion (59.5kg) and ended up placing 2nd, just behind Zaaffair Steal (57.5kg) over 1600m and was right up there. That should be a good form guide for this race and I think it could easily get the win this time.
Crossoverkid: Resuming on Thursday. Last race, placed 3rd of 6 at Warrnambool in an Mdn over 2350m, just 2.6 lengths behind Crafty Boss (59.5kg) carrying 59kg at $1.85.
Exacta - Kembla Grange - R6
1st: 9, 11, 5, 4
2nd: 9, 11, 5, 4
Insist: Last time out, it had a perfect run and won, looking much fitter. This horse knows how to bring the heat and last time out at Kembla Grange, it showed us exactly what he's made of. With Keagan Latham in the saddle, it's a force to be reckoned with and could very well take the win again.
Island Dec: Island Dec is first-up on Thursday. Has a positive first-up record in its career. Tommy Berry was on board last run and won over 1000m at Kembla Grange. So I think that's a good form guide for Thursday's race and should be tough to beat down the straight. Has been good before when it's first-up.
Cassiel: Resuming on Thursday. Has a positive first-up record in its career. On May 1 at Canterbury in a BM64 over 1200m, Cassiel started slow and finished 10th out of 11, while carrying 58.5kg at $26.00 odds. Likes running first-up.
Misty Legend: The last time this horse hit the track, Misty Legend put in a better effort, and that's something to take note of for Thursday's race. With Andrew Adkins riding, you know that Misty Legend has got a jockey who can handle business. Good stats at the distance too, bodes well for Thursday.
Exacta - Kembla Grange - R7
1st: 5, 6, 3, 4
2nd: 5, 6, 3, 4
Monte Veebee: It hit the track on September 14 and Monte Veebee put in a solid effort, finishing 7th out of 13. Thursday's race sees some good odds to have a crack, I think. With Tommy Berry on board, that gives me confidence too.
The Three Hundred: Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 9 in the Mdn at Hawkesbury on September 7. That race was over 1400m on a good track and it came in 0.3 lengths behind San Gabriel (56.5kg). Definitely among the winning chances.
Behaviour: Behaviour’s latest race at Randwick-Kensington Mdn on September 11, it managed to get 4th place out of 7, not bad and could run a place.
Colophon: Ready to win now. Finished second last start with Latham on board at Kembla Grange. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances.
