Makdane comes from solid lineage with a dam that made it to G3 races. Last time out, Makdane was in the mix but couldn't quite catch the winner. In his latest run at this track, he finished second over 1600m. Before that, he grabbed another second spot at Sandown-Lakeside over 1400m.

Perfume River put in a solid effort first-up and looks even better this time around. Last time out, he finished second at this track over 1400m. His previous second-up run wasn't as impressive, but he's showing a lot of promise. 

Onlygoldwilldo is fresh and ready to go after a decent run at Bendigo. Keep an eye on the betting market to see how he's shaping up. Last time fresh, he finished fourth over 1600m, and before that, he came ninth over 1300m. 

Eye For An Eye is a newcomer, but he's got some good genes. He's by Kodiac and his dam's UK runners have been winners. He's shown some promise in jumpouts and could surprise us all in his debut.

This is his third run back, and he's won third-up before. In his last race at Caulfield, he finished second by a neck and then he won at Warrnambool. 

Brave Miss kicked off her season with a bang at Werribee, winning by a whopping 6 lengths. She's jumping up a couple of grades here, but she's suited to the longer distance.

Chill The Krug returned to this distance at Warrnambool and put in a solid run. Last time out, she finished fourth, and before that, she also finished fourth at Sandown-Lakeside. 

Impending Link is on a roll, chasing a third straight win. Last time out at Sale, he won by a length and before that, he won at this track.

Watch My Girl is coming off a break and looks ready to strike. She was right in the thick of it at Kembla Grange last time out and is stepping up in distance now. She's been third-up before and placed.

Outcast Girl timed her run perfectly to win at Newcastle last time out. Now she's up in distance and looks like she's right in the mix here. This is her third run back, and she's been in the money in both her previous starts.

Rico Suave has had a break and wasn't too far off the mark last time out at Newcastle. He's drawn wide, so he'll need some luck, but he should be one for the exotic bets.
