Midweek racing comes back to some of our most prestigious racecourses as we anticipate the Spring Group 1 races and as such see some of the premier stables placing runners who look to be onto the calibre of racing you would see in my Saturday Tips but as for tomorrow’s racing I have posted full length Wednesday tips for each of the tracks in addition to my best bets tips where we go through track insights and promotions across the betting apps and in this article I aim to build some exotics bets, centred around my most confident bets of the day in an effort to pick up some more lucrative winners. The article below features three different tips for three different track and I am hoping to compliment our Wednesday Tips quite nicely if even one of the bets comes through. Best Exotic Tips of the Day | August 2
Trifecta - Kensington - R7
1st: 6
2nd: 1, 5, 7, 8
3rd: 1, 5, 7, 8
This is my best bet overall for the day and you can see my full reasoning in both my Wednesday tips and best bets tips but I have chosen to play the trifecta quite safe with the second and third lines of betting in there as well as the two roughies who I think can fill third, or even second if we get lucky, in which case we would be looking at quite a lucrative payout
Exacta - Kensington - R3
1st: 2, 3
2nd: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
The #2 in this race is my next best bet of the day at Kensington and whilst he is the third line of betting across most of the aussie betting sites I think it is between him and the favourite for first place and then have added in all of the runners who i think have a chance of placing in what could turn out to be a bunched finish. Exacta - Doomben - R6
1st: 3
2nd: 2, 8, 10
It’s going to be pretty tough to beat #3 in this race in my opinion and you can check out my full reasoning in my Wednesday tips for Doomben or my best bets tips as I have made him my best bet of the day and I do think there is a key threat in the #2 but I am backing the #3 to get it done. I have added in another two for second place who I think can show up at nice prices which would only increase our payout.

- Trifecta betting can prove extremely lucrative when a higher odds runner fills any of the spots in the trifecta as it massively boosts the total odds.
- 50% of runners that finish first in the trifecta were placed in their start prior
- More than 65% of runners that finish second in trifectas finished 1st-5th in their start prior
- A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two
