Best Exotic Tips of the Day | August 16th
Exacta - Sandown Lakeside - R4
1st: 1, 7
2nd: 1, 4, 6, 7
The #7 is my best overall bet of the day at Sandown tomorrow and also in my best bets tips article where I have a full write up on his prospects but we are backing him to roll a hot favourite so as such in this exacta I have included that favourite to win and then some other outside chances to fill second if either my top pick or favourite do not show up tomorrow. Exacta - Canterbury Park - R4
1st: 3, 9, 4
2nd: 3, 4, 9, 11
The #3 is my roughie of the day in best bets tips and in the horse racing tips at Canterbury Park and whilst I really do think he is the leading contender here he’s going to have to get past a couple good things in the two favourites (4, 9) and as such I have included him in both lines of betting but also the 4, 9 in both as they could easily take out the exacta. Trifecta - Canterbury Park - R5
1st: 1, 4, 10
2nd: 1, 4, 9, 10
3rd: 1, 2, 4, 9
Going for all the chocolates with this one as I do think that the #10 is a standout bet and is my best bet in my Wednesday Tips at Canterbury Park but I think if he doesn’t get there he will fill the exacta and as such have included him for second place as well as the main key chances who I think can surprise and take this race out at big odds. If that is the case then our trifecta will pay very nicely and will cover the best bet missing.

- A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two
