Caulfield and Canterbury exotics tips 17/04

The Autumn Group 1 races season is pretty much peaked this weekend with big Group 1 races in NSW this past weekend as a $12.7 million day strikes Randwick racecourse. We have two bumper cards at Canterbury racecourse and Caulfield racecourse. I have posted full length free horse racing tips for each of the aforementioned racecourses. It’s going to be a big day of racing with bumper cards set for Caulfield racecourse and Canterbury racecourse. We are looking to pick up some more lucrative bets and as usual I am continuing the strategy that has been having success in focusing on exacta betting as it continues to pay off so lets get stuck back into things so follow me below for another solid day of exotics betting below!

My roughie of the day steps out here in the #2 who comes in at a big price but I think that he’s a very good shot of winning given that he resumes in a race that is below his best level. Out of my other selections there is one other that is at big odds and one that is $5.00+ and that makes this a great betting race for this type of exacta. A simple way of comparing two horses that you are considering adding into your exacta / trifecta is to add their placings from the last four starts and take the smaller of the two

I am an avid horse racing enthusiast and punter. Growing up in Randwick, I have been surrounded by racing through stories from the elderly’s past endeavours to the racecourse and owners that are friends of the family. I am also a data-scientist and am fascinated and intrigued by the algorithmic approach to form. I’ve has become more involved with racing over the past few years due to simultaneously delving deeper into the sport and learning how to apply a data driven approach to punting.
