Whilst the weather at Coffs Harbour has certainly not been conducive to racing for the past few days, carry on regardless looks to be the key message, as some excellent horses line up in an impressive 8-race card.

THE DANGER - Grecian Lass
Key competition comes in the form of Grecian Lass, a mare who should also enjoy the heavy going here at Coffs Harbour. A relative lack of form won't do too much for her prospects but she is used to operating at a much higher standard than this.

3-year-old Solar Power has been mixing it with the big boys of late and returns to a more manageable trip here, in less esteemed company. That said, Solar Power will have to show a strong turn of foot and plenty of stamina to come through here at Coffs Harbour.

VALUE BET  - Young Pip
Another exciting horse that could find a way to get the job done here is Young Pip, who has only managed 1 career triumph so far. Conditions should suit, as should the course and distance and Young Pip looks to be a decent value shout here for those chasing it.

The penultimate race on the card here at Coffs Harbour is a very open one and Noble Missile is the tentative favourite. That said, it is a horse that has shown a better run of form of late for the Fletcher yard and if it gets up ahead of steam, it could be tough to stop.

THE DANGER - Run Rory Run
A similar synopsis could be written for Run Rory Run, a horse with bags of potential, who simply does not score too often. The heavy ground should be useful and if he has a clear run, he should be there or thereabouts in the placings.

VALUE BET - Just Jacky
