Cranbourne R2 - IVAN'S PIES (BM64) (1600m)

Selections:
#4 - Suruga Bay (NEXT BEST)  - $2.50
#1 - Connecticut  - $3.50
#6 - Disturbia  - $18.00
#2 - Credible Analyses - $7.50

BEST BET - #4 - Suruga Bay (NEXT BEST)
Suruga Bay is a very progressive three year old for Grant Begg who comes into this third up after makingbig improvements second up when coming to this track from Pakenham and sitting three deep with no cover before shifting out and taking over at the 200m to only go down late to a few smart types. She looks to be hard fit now and if they can time the run so that she peaks just a bit later she will be very hard to beat.

THE DANGER - #1 - Connecticut
Looks to be a pretty even contest between Suruga Bay and Connecticut who is second up for Moroney after placing at Pakenham about a month ago when fresh from a long spell. They didn’t run it all that fast that day but there’s been four runners since then from that race that have won since and the form from that race looks very good. He’ll make natural improvements from that and will be prominent from the decent gate.

VALUE BET  - #6 - Disturbia
Disturbia has been running very well this campaign without winning. He’s placed third in all of his last three runs and has had excuses in his last two but also did come up against some horses that just looked better. He gets a soft run from the inside here and should be fit as ever and peaking now. Good chance at the odds.

Cranbourne R6 - PROCON DEVELOPMENTS (BM64) (1500m)

Selections:
#8 - Countess Jenni (BEST BET) - $4.20
#9 - Whakamana  - $4.80
#5 - Black Ivory  - $14.00
#1 - Narvaez - $4.20

BEST BET - #8 - Countess Jenni (BEST BET)
Countless Jenni looks like a very good horse for Maher and Eustace who, after a few quite jump outs and no public trials and scored dominantly at Pakenham first up over the 1200m where he did it two wide all trip and still just kept finding the line. Won narrowly there but the splits were good and rates very well with a much softer run this time. Step up in trip looks good as well, top chance.

THE DANGER - #9 - Whakamana
Whakamana looks very good for The Busuttin and Young Stable second up here after placing first up at Pakenham two weeks ago. The time wasn’t anything flash but the track was slow that day and she was honest in a tough run. The run should be a bit softer this time in, she maps to be up on the speed and can go one better here.

VALUE BET  - #5 - Black Ivory
Black Ivory resumed off a half year spell two weeks ago in the same race as Whakamana and was seventh their but did very well from the wrong part of the track and was under a length from the place getters. Historically improves second up and likes this distance range. Top chance to go over here tomorrow.

Cranbourne R7 - HERTZ CRANBOURNE (BM64) (1300m)

Selections:
#4 - Crimmo  - $3.10
#x 8 - Body Bob  - $2.70
#11 - Magical Slipper (ROUGHIE OF THE DAY)  - $7.50
#2 - Oamanikka - $8.00

BEST BET - #4 - Crimmo
ICrimmo looks very well placed to return to the races a winner here first up. He debuted a winner at Ararat over the 1300m before going to Sandown in the midweeks and chased hard there, building up to a peak just a bit too late and looking very good when third. Comes back to this provincial BM64 now first up and looks suited to against this field.

THE DANGER - #8 - Body Bob
Body Bob has done little wrong in four starts to date, recording a handful of placings before taking a breaking from the races for just over half a year and returned two weeks ago over the 1200m at Warrnackanbeal for a brave win when leading them for an all the way win and just holding on there. Should improve second up and the step up in distance looks suited.

VALUE BET - #11 - Magical Slipper (ROUGHIE OF THE DAY)
Phillip Stokes and Daniel Moor are a proven combination who have been flying this season so far. Magical Slipper is third up and whilst she hasn’t done an awful lot up until this point she has had a lot of weight on her back and hasn’t been disgraced in the runs back. Can improve third up and finds a winnable race.

Multi Tips For Cranbourne Racecourse

Cranbourne can be a challenging track to craft a successful multi bet, so I'm opting to stick to a specific strategy for this race day. I've identified those horses up near the speed (in the sprints/mid distance) as the most promising contenders at Cranbourne. I’m hoping this increases our chance cashing the multi bet so be sure to follow me below for a fun bet to track over tomorrow

Best Promotions for Cranbourne Racecourse

Promotions are traditionally the primary way for punters to create an edge over the bookies, as they can save your cash when your runner fails to win, in the instance of Unibet they often offer 2nd and 3rd money back in bonus bets for a selection of races on the midweek and Provincial racing days. Coupled with their generous odds I have to put them as the top bookie promotion wise at the moment for Australian racing.

If you are looking for the best promotions this week for Wednesday's racing I wouldn’t look past Unibet, often they offer odds boosts in addition to the money back promotions. Don’t forget to check your account as well for personal offers.

Promotions often change so make sure you sign up at unibet.com.au to see what promotions are applicable to you and you may even be surprised to find some promotions that weren’t mentioned here!
