Friday Racing Tips - Ballarat 28/06/24

Ballarat has enjoyed a packed Autumn and Winter of racing and there is another 8-race card here on Friday, with the synthetic track in play and there should be heaps for both punters and horse racing betting apps to get on board with.

A slick operator for the Moody clan, Judicial should be firmly in the running here on debut and Luke Nolen on board looks to be an inspired booking. Having never run before, there are a few question marks but it is certainly one to keep an eye on with many punters and betting sites.

With no wins on the card from 20 runs, Kiso is going to be out to break a long-standing duck in this one but history wouldn't suggest it is ready to do so. That said, is still has plenty of backers and with some impressive placings in recent times, it could shock a few punters and betting sites.

VALUE BET – Fortunate Gal - $6.00

Similar credentials could be levelled at Fortunate Gal too, a horse that has yet to win from 22 career outings - frequently disappointing both punters and betting apps. However, it does feel like something has to give and it could be one to get behind here at Ballarat.

THE DANGER – Fayetta – $5.00

The opposite could be said of Fayetta, a horse that endured a slow start to its career but who is bouncing back excellently recently. A win and a place from its last two showings would suggest it is more than ready to challenge here for punters and betting sites.

VALUE BET – Home Sweet Home - $9.50

The trump card in this field, Home Sweet Home has not been seen for over 20 weeks but a change of owner and a break should do it good. Synthetic shouldn't be an issue, neither should the distance and this is a horse that could prevail comfortably for those chasing value with the biggest and best betting apps.
